Security Roles
After you import PowerSalesToolBelt, you will notice a new security role in your CRM. Each user you want to be able to have some level of use for PowerSalesToolBelt will need security role below.
Configuring
Once PowerPowerSalesToolbelt has been imported and registered you will have to configure Bing Map key and click on Save.
Navigating to PowerSalesToolBelt PowerApp
Navigate to PowerSalesToolBelt as follows from browser, or you can now access PowerSalesToolBelt on your phone if you have ‘PowerApp’ app installed on your phone and is logged in with the org same as the org where PowerSalesToolBelt solution was installed.
Note: When you open the app, make sure you give allow access to location, by clicking on ‘Allow’. This will enable you to use functionalities such as Getting Directions and finding Nearby Accounts.
Accessing Records
You can access your Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities or Activities by selecting one of the tabs, respectively.
View Record in Dynamics 365
To view records in Dynamics 365, tap on the record that you want to open and navigate as follows.
View Related Records
To view related records for Account or Contact, tap/click on the record that you want to open and navigate to the respective related entity record.
Get Directions
To get directions on the selected accounts, select desired accounts and tap/click on Directions.
Note: This feature is available only for Account Entity
Once successful, you will be presented with Map Directions on the following screens as below.
View Nearby Accounts
To view nearby accounts, click on NearbyMe tab on Accounts View.
Note: For this functionality to work, Addresses on accounts should have ZipCode and Country.
